Trying to get better at outfit posts. Attempting to train my boyfriend to take flattering photos of me is a difficult task because A) I am super awkward getting my photo taken and B) he’s super sweet and thinks I always look great…which is far from reality
Cuties being cuties. The highlight of the weekend was having a couple strong cocktails Saturday night while switching back and forth between the E Anna Nicole Smith special and the Lifetime Anna Nicole Smith movie. It was, in a word, HIGHlarious
I listed a few new items in our shop this morning

To say I’m loving my new life in the holy city would be the understatement of the century.
I spent the morning applying for jobs and then working out with B at Hampton Park (where I will be living from now on)

Time has been flying
Friday, B had the day off so I chartered a course of adventure for us. Desperate to get on a boat, we decided to jump on the Charleston water taxi and see where we wound up. I was also still determined to find a way to the beach without a car, which wound up being a bust. Regardless, we still wound up having a blast at the marina at Party at the Point.
I am currently stocked at JLinsnider she’s got a great vintage spot and is an insanely talented designer
She’s located at 539 King Street in Charleston. Go forth and purchase!

It’s a hot ass day here in Charleston. I’m having a lot of trouble finding a way to get to the beach without a car. You’d think the bus system would take you there considering it’s only like, 15 minutes away. C’mon Charleston! Get that shit going! Not sure I can get there by bike either, nor do I want to today during a heat advisory with a heat index of like, 109.
Here are some photos of our adventures in our new city

New beauties! This was the presentation I prepared for a sales meeting I had this week. Hopefully I’ll get my computer up and running so I can list all the new items in my shop
Stay cool, Charleston
I finally finished unpacking today and the apartment is slowly coming together. Actually had time to do my nails for the first time in a loooong while

Stay dry Charleston
I’ve been a little MIA because I’ve been in the process of moving to Charleston SC from NJ. it’s been a tad hectic, but amazing at the same time. My boyfriend and his buddy drove our moving truck down through the night on very little sleep. Upon their arrival to the apartment (after seeing nothing had been done to our apartment that was supposed to be fixed..) a person drove their car into our parked moving truck. The people were okay, and somehow so was the truck, but their side car window popped out and shattered all over the street, and they lost a whole door. Somewhere in the mix, a signal goes out that one of the passengers were trapped in the vehicle. Within a minute there were four police cars and two fire trucks on the street in front of our apartment under the impression that someone needed to be removed from a vehicle with the jaws of life. And then a SECOND person drove into our truck. In the same spot. Again, thankfully, our truck was fine. Oh, and there was a miscommunication about who turns on the electricity, so there was no power
Thankfully our upstairs neighbors are so rad. They ran and extension cord down for us so we could have a some light and a fan.
Also, my ride down with my cat went really smoothly and I even walked him on a leash. He was a perfect gentleman.
